"Julie" is definitely everything that we had hoped she would be. She was from the last litter sired by Andrew while he was still alive and came back to Brandmar in lieu of a stud fee. In Julie's first ever all breed show, she won the breed over multiple Specials from the 6 to 9 month class for a Major win under respected Judge Michelle Billings. She followed in her mother's footsteps by duplicating her win in 2002 as Winner's Bitch to finish her championship and being selected as an Award of Merit winner at the 2005 National Specialty under Breeder/Judge Chris Walkowicz. She was also chosen Best In Futurity under Breeder/Judge Carol Gold. At two years of age and still growing coat, Julie was the youngest bitch Special to garner a cut in the Best of Breed class under Breeder/Judge Alan Burfitt, Breaksea Bearded Collies, Wales, at the 2006 National Specialty. In 2008 at the BCCA National Specialty in Santa Rosa, CA under Breeder/Judge Wendy Hines, Ramsgrove, U.K., Julie was awarded an Award of Merit and also placed 2nd in a large Brood Bitch Class. She earned her Registry of Merit from the BCCA in her very first litter. An exceptional bitch that I am so fortunate to call my own, she has never disappointed in or out of the whelping box.

"Eliza" made her debut at the 2006 BCCA National Specialty in grand style by winning three out of four of the 6 to 9 month puppy classes and placed second in the fourth one. In only her third all breed show, she won her first Major from the 6 to 9 month class by going Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite over a bitch Special. The next day, she repeated her win from the previous day of showing for another 2 points. Not bad for such a young girl just starting out! In March, 2007, Eliza finished her championship by going Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners for a 4 point Major at just 13 months old. She took a trip to Canada in August, 2007, for the Bearded Collie Club of Canada's National Specialty and walked away with being selected as Best In Sweepstakes. Eliza has proven to be an outstanding dam and earned her Registry of Merit with her first litter alone which produced multiple Champions, many of which have gone on to earn titles in herding, agility, and both obedience and Rally. She just never disappoints in or out of the whelping box and has earned back to back Award of Merits at the BCCA National Specialty under two Breeder/Judges in both 2009 and 2010. Eliza was recently named as one of the Top Bearded Collie Bitches for 2010 by the American Kennel Club for producing three Champion get in one year. The quality of Eliza's contribution to my breeding program is clearly shown as she is featured with two of her daughters from the 2011 BCCA National Specialty, "Mia", CH Brandmar Jenuwin Could Have Danced All Night, and "Lizzie", Brandmar Jenuwin An Aptitude For Attitude.

“Tessa” was Best of Opposite Sex in the 2008 Futurity held in conjunction with the National Specialty in Santa Rosa, California, and continued on with her winning ways. A Julie daughter and Andrew granddaughter, she is definitely her mother’s daughter, but even better. She finished her Championship quite easily and produced her first litter in June, 2010. After producing two additional litters before retiring from motherhood duties, Tessa definitely proved the value of what she could contribute in a breeding program in her progeny.

“Remy” is the first and so far the only Brown Beardie in residence here. When she was born, we decided that if she were to stay, she had to be that good and then even better. She is! She made her debut at the 2008 BCCA National Specialty and received outstanding accolades from all that judged her as she won all her classes and then was awarded Reserved Winners Bitch from the 6 to 9 Puppy Class! The whelping box is finally looming in the future for Remy and I look forward to all the possibilities of her contribution to the next generation.

The “Gibson” girl has to be the happiest Beardie ever born. She enjoys doing whatever it is you ask her to do and hasn’t had a bored minute in her life thus far. Gibson finished her championship with back-to-back 4 point Majors, and then her Grand Championship in short order to boot. We are so pleased to have her as part of our group and cannot wait to see what adventures we share together with her in and out of the ring.

“Chloe” was the only girl in Tessa’s first litter, so obviously she just had to stay as she possesses so many of the same qualities as her mother and grandmother. If her pedigree is any indication of what she can contribute to the next generation, we can hardly wait! After waiting forever it seems for her to come into coat, Chloe finished in a BIG way the first day of a major four day Cluster of shows in June. Needing only three singles, she was awarded the breed over multiple Specials to finish with a third Major win, and then swept the entire weekend by going Winners Bitch to pad her finishing point total all from the Bred By class. As she continues to mature, I expect great things from her to come in the future.

“Lizzie” was the realization of a dream come true using 14 year old frozen semen from Andrew to Eliza. The result of this breeding was everything I had dare dreamed it to be. Lizzie has the sassy attitude that just commands your attention and never seems to put a foot wrong. While her litter brother, Christopher, is now residing in England with Wendy Hines, Ramsgrove Bearded Collies, Lizzie remains here to add a whole new dimension to my breeding program. In starting out her show career, Lizzie has made the judges look up and take notice of her. In limited showing on her way to her AKC championship, she amassed three Major wins and several Best of Breed wins over Specials and finished in very short order. She was always Breeder/Owner/Handled by myself to her title. A continued star in the making as she only continues to get better with each day that passes.

“Meg” arrived along with her half sister, Ramsgrove Lizzie Lentil, from Wendy Hines in October 2012. When Wendy first offered me these girls, there was no way I could say no. With their pedigrees alone, they bring an infusion of new and complimentary lines into my breeding program, not to mention that they are both wonderful individuals to live with. Meg was awarded her very first point in her second show shortly after arriving, and never stopped winning in very limited showing. Always owner/handled, she finished with back-to-back-to-back Major wins plus a single point to earn her championship. The whelping box is the next stop for this truly wonderful and affectionate girl.

“Lizzie” began her show career in the U.S. with going Winners Bitch at her first show after arriving, and then took a backseat to Meg’s winning ways in the ring. Now since Meg has earned her title, Lizzie has been on a winning streak in limited showing, but will head to the whelping box at her next season. Already a proven bitch in the whelping box at Ramsgrove, I look forward to what she can contribute here at Brandmar. Typical of many Beardies, Lizzie is quite the character and possesses the amazing feat of being able to clearly bark with her mouth stuffed full with a toy!
