"Andrew" is the all time Best In Show winning slate colored Bearded Collie in AKC breed history with 35 Best In Shows, 21 of which were awarded to him in 1996 alone, another record for our breed until 2010. He is also the first Bearded Collie to ever win the Herding Group at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show (1996), to be ranked as the #1 Herding Dog (1996), and one of the Top Ten All Breed Dogs in the U.S. (1996).  He is only the second Beardie in breed history to ever win Best of Breed at Westminster three years in a row, retiring the Challenge Trophy there in 1997.  Andrew is also a multiple Best In Specialty winner as well as a multiple Best In Show winner in Canada.  He was awarded Best of Breed at the Canadian National Specialty show in 2001 all the way from the Veterans class at 11 1/2 years young by esteemed English Breeder/Judge Mike Lewis of Potterdale fame.

Andrew proved himself to not only be a very successful dog in the show ring, but sired many outstanding puppies as well, several of which are Best In Show, Group winning, and Group placing get.  He has consistently passed on his very correct attributes to them for the continued benefit of the breed.  Although Andrew is no longer with us, he figures very prominently into the pedigrees of many of our dogs.   We are fortunate to have frozen semen stored on him for our use on generations to come.

January 31, 1996 ~ September 19, 2009

I doubt that there was a sweeter dog born than "Winston". He finished his championship in grand style by taking the breed over a multiple Best In Show winning dog for his last Major. He is an Andrew nephew, and his mum, ENG CH Diotima With Grace, was a Best of Breed winner at Crufts. The show ring was never quite Winston's forte as he much preferred to be at home playing "Mr. Mom" to any puppies that happened to be around, a job that he exceeded especially well doing. He has sired some lovely puppies for us, several who are multiple Best of Breed winners, Group placing, and have been ranked in the Top Ten in Breed and All Breed point standings. We are fortunate to still be able to have Winston contribute to our breeding program through the wonders of frozen semen.

AM/CAN/Mexican/INT CH Rallentando Taylor Made, CGC, PT
(AM/CAN CH Chelsic Cape Breton And Me, HIC, ROMI, ROM X AM/CAN CH Rallentando Rumour Has It)
DOB:  September 24, 2002

"Taylor" was already a multiple Group winning and Group placing dog shortly after turning two years of age. He has a wonderful temperament and is a very easy dog to live with. Taylor is a very biddable dog that is always willing to do whatever you ask of him, and gives it his all, a trait that he seems to readily pass along to his offspring. In the litters he has sired thus far, he has produced multiple Champions of record both here and in Canada, as well as Best Puppy in Group and Show in Canada. We couldn’t be more pleased with what he has to offer to future generations.

(ENG CH Diotima Sea Wolf At Ramsgrove X INT/NED/POL CH Firstprizebears Very Brown)
DOB:  June 9, 2005

"Higgins" finished his Championship at only 10 months old with three Major wins. At the 2006 Bearded Collie Club of America's National Specialty held in Welches, Oregon, he was the youngest male champion to make the cut under Breeder/Judge Alan Burfitt, Breaksea Bearded Collies, Wales. After the National, Higgins headed south of the border and came home a multiple Group placing and winning dog. Higgins possesses so many nice qualities about him which he has readily passed along to his offspring. He has produced multiple Champions as well as dogs that have earned titles in herding and Rally, a venue where he also earned his Rally Novice title in three straight trials with multiple placements as well as earning his BCCA Versatility Award. We feel he is an extremely valuable asset as he has so much to offer.
